Priced below market value
Asking price against the model’s market value for every car on sale
A deal is a car on sale asking at least 10% less than its market reference: the price the model expects the car to go for (last asking price before cars like it leave the site, minus a 6% negotiation), capped by the median asking price, less the same negotiation, of at least 3 like-for-like in-stock cars on sale: the same model (±1 year), number of doors, fuel type and engine size (±0.3 L); cars for parts never count. Without them the price cannot be checked, so the car is not a deal. Left out: ads older than 60 days (a real deal does not linger), cars in transit or already reserved, for-parts or non-running ads, ads priced before VAT, references under €5k, and cuts deeper than 45% (usually a typo or a wreck). “Best overall” weighs the discount by the money saved. Scored once a day after the scrape.
